help with a IBM Thinkpad notebook computer?
i bought this computer at a thrift store. it came with the AC power supply cable as well. i charged the battery overnight, tried to turn it on, it sounds like the system is running, but nothing comes up on the screen. the battery light was green so i imagine the battery is fine. any ideas how to get it to work? the fan i can hear moving so that might be a good sign at least
i tried the Function key and f4 and still didnt get anything. when i turn the power button on, the little Z with a circle around it lits up along with the battery indicator, but still nothing

It could be on standby…if so hold Fn (the function key) and press F4…then wait a minute. If that doesn’t work, well, then you might be out of luck.
