What is the quality difference between brand new and refurbished computers?

they were once defective,sometimes u get good ones and then sometimes u get bad ones. its a toss up, if u r suspect get a new 1

No difference really, still looks new. I bought two laptops and a desktop from dell and they are in perfect condition and hasn’t given me any problems yet. Had them a 1yr and a half now.
With a refurbished computer you don’t know how many times they’ve been dropped.
If you can afford new there’s really no reason to consider anything else.
Dell refurbished laptops have same wrranty as new ones.
You can’t compare something new to something that was used, even slightly.
The difference is that in the refurbished computer the price drops about 25% from the brand new original price.
The quality depends on the specs of the computer, the faster the processor is the better performance you get, plus everything else.
brand new is out of the box and A refurbished computer, on the other hand, has been returned to the manufacturer because a part on it wasn’t working. What they’ve done is they’ve replaced the part that wasn’t working. Then they rebox them for sale.. I like refurbished better.. they are cheap and still have a warranty same as brand new..
